Vision Enhancing Papaya & Raspberry Smoothie

Another smoothie to enjoy! This one I really love, as my eye site is not the best! We really need to look after our eyes, as they can become damaged over time without us really being aware. The ingredients for this smoothie are full of vitamin A, which is essential for good vision and the prevention of night blindness, and also lutein. Lutein is a carotenoid that is naturally found in the macula of our retinas. Think of it as little sunglasses that cover our eyes. Lutein helps protect the eyes from sun damage, which is a lot more serious than some people are aware of. Having extra lutein in our diets can help look after our eyes on those super sunny days! This recipe is very refreshing and the flavours are not overwhelming, they work just right together, I hope you enjoy!



  • Half of 1 papaya
  • 1 peach
  • A handful of blueberries
  • A handful raspberries
  • 300ml of Almond milk


First peel your papaya, slice down the middle and remove the seeds. Next remove the stone from the peach and you’re ready to go! Put all of your ingredients into your blender, and blender for around 1 minutes, until nice and smooth. Serve up and enjoy!
