Simple Porridge

Nothing fancy here, but just in case you want to experiment with your own flavours, here is quick recipe for a simple porridge. The topping choices are endless, so everyday doesn’t need to be the same boring flavours!

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 100g of oats
  • 150ml of almond milk
  • 100ml of water

Topping choices

  • Fresh and dried fruit
  • Seeds
  • Nuts
  • Nut butters
  • Granola
  • Jam
  • Syrup

Put the oats in a saucepan and pour in the milk and the water. Bring to the boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring from occasionally to make sure that the porridge does not stick to the bottom of the pan. When ready, spoon into 2 separate bowls and add your favourite toppings. I like to go for a bit of everything! Enjoy!
