Honey Glazed Sprouts, Pecans and Grapes

What is Christmas without the vegetable most people claim to hate (myself younger self included), but this time with a crunchy and sweet touch? This is simple to put together and will set off any Christmas meal perfectly!


Ingredients (Serves 3-4)

  • 350g of brussel sprouts
  • 150g of red seedless grapes
  • 50g of pecans
  • 1 tablespoon of runny honey¬†(Date syrup for vegans)
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Pre-heat the oven to 180C fan/200C. Cut the sprouts in half and place in a large mixing bowl. Cut some of the larger grapes in a half and throw the rest in whole. Break up a few pecans with your hands, and again leave the rest whole. With everything in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, using your hands to make sure everything is coated. Spread out on a large baking tray and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Finally, taking 1 tablespoon of runny honey, drizzle the honey evenly, letting the honey drip off the spoon. Alternatively use a honey spoon or dripper.

Put in the oven for 22-25 minutes, when the sprouts have started to brown and the grapes are nice and plump. Serve up immediately and season with more salt and pepper if desired. Enjoy!
